Q.: What happens when, for example, you are entering a 3 year with a Mars retrograde as I am? What is more powerful, the numerology or the astrology? I bought your book it’s great. I live in South Africa.
A.: Astrology and numerology provide tools for looking at our life situations from different angles, and different perspectives. I would consider the social/creative/chaotic nature of the 3 as setting a general tone for the year, but then I would use the position and aspects of Mars for added details as to area of life affected, if at all. The Mars transit could point to specific areas of life where distractions [3] might be experienced. Keep in mind also that not all transits will be reflected in events in our lives. Your personal level of self-awareness, your maturity, the nature of your personal activities as well as your ability to deal with number 3 and Mars energies, will also determine how you will experience his combination of trends.
