It’s a 7 Personal Year for yours truly, and, being that this is one of my favourite energies, I am taking full advantage of it. I often tell clients who are starting a 7 Personal Year that this is a great time to hone their skills, fine tune their expertise, study, deepen their knowledge of some aspect of their life experience, take up yoga or embark on a spiritual quest. There tends to be an inclination towards isolation and solitude, a focus on the inner life, and all forms of studies.
Well, for those who have been wondering where I’ve been hiding lately, just thought I’d let you know that I walk the talk, and, being in a 7 Year, I have been heeding my own advice. Besides continuing my study of A Course in Miracles and the writing of my next book, last month, in a number 1 Personal Month of new experiences, in a 7 Year of learning, I became a Certified Professional Coach! While on a role, I decided to expand this study and am presently working on a Group Leader certification, to be completed, interestingly, in a 2 Personal Month of coaching, teaching, counseling, etc. With numerology as a personal roadmap, I can now help my clients set and reach their goals by providing additional help through coaching. Yeah!
And that’s not the end of my learning. I’ve been updating my software skills, InDesign, online conferencing, as well as plunging into learning about personal finances, investing and the discount brokerage business, (getting ready for next year, an 8 Personal Year of money, success and accomplishment). Oh yes, and then there’s the new television, cable box, DVD player and surround sound system that took me nearly three weeks to install and learn how to operate! That was probably the steepest learning curve of all. There was also the portable MP3 player, the bird feeder (I know, sounds simple, but there are considerations such as distance from trees, height and baffles), and the remote starter for my car. Had to figure out how to change the battery
While I was enjoying a perfectly learning-free Easter dinner with the kids, my daughter showed me how to use my wine bottle opener. I flipped! Apparently, it has this foldout shrink wrap remover device that I never knew about. There’s no end to learning this year, and I’m sure I’ve forgotten a thing or two already–probably why I have to keep on learning. They say that training the brain and learning new skills will keep your mind rejuvenated and youthful. And, it’s only April! At this rate, in no time at all I’ll have the brain of a babbling six month old! Okay, I think I’m babbling now… time to wrap it up and go learn something.
